International Neonatal and Maternal Immunization Symposium 2009
The International Neonatal and Maternal Immunization Symposium (INMIS 2009) was held in Antalya, Turkey, on November 8-9 2009.

INMIS-2009 was dedicated to an extensive discussion about recent basic and preclinical studies to increase knowledge of the development-function of the immune system in the neonate and also effects of maternal immunization. Infant mortality worldwide is a continuing problem. This symposium is endorsed by Turkish Pediatric Infectious Disease Society, European Society of Pediatric Infectious Disease (ESPID) and European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Disease (ESCMID).
